Would i need any other parts with the hub assembly or is that it? I figured I would buy the parts online because its cheaper than buying them at a shop. Then just have the mechanic put it on

The hub assemblies for a GM are complete and include the wheel speed sensor. They do come in 3 bolt and 4 bolt versions depending on model and year. What ever make vehicle you have, taking the part to a local after market parts store and matching the parts is worth the little money you will save buying on line. Most mechanics want to supply their own parts for the repair to make sure they are right. You'll find out!

Depending on the car, if your talking about the whole hub with wheel bearings and everything you will not need anything else unless your brakes don't look so hot.
