Freakin Oath! Awesome question. They really should look into it man. I've been suggesting that for a while. I mean adults should be able to ask serious adult questions without it having to be deemed as inappropriate.
A star for you.

there is meant to be a age limit of 13 according to the guidelines
read that after an alleged swearing incident and getting suspended
trouble is how do you enforce a age limit anyone can click a button
when you think about it its quite funny that adult humour get violation warnings while a 10 year old can click a button sayin yes im over 13
maybe y/a should include parental controls and a profanity filter and then give the parents a violation warning if their kiddies abuse the guidelines

There already is an age restriction. It's like 12 or 13.

Yes dahling!! I totally agree! They have an age restriction on Yahoo 360 so they should also have an age restriction on Yahoo Answers as well. Or they should have a separate Yahoo Answers for Kids or something.

Not really. All the 12 year olds are over on Singles & Dating, and nobody takes that section seriously anyways ("does he/she really like me?"). This leaves the rest of the site to us alledged grown ups. What would be somewhat cool would be an adults only section on Y!A. It would save lots of people from getting reported all the time.

Good question... I asked myself the same thing but never got a chance to question it lol.
But the freak that answered u old question must be an immature adult believe me... or it could a 12 yrs old kid.
This days, u cant tell the difference between 32 and 12 when they are behind the computer.
My advice to you, dont pay attention to this imbecilles!
Enjoy your Holidays babe!!

There is a 13 year old age limit. How they would enforce that I dont know. But I think that perhaps there should be an adult forum. But even then, there are some pretty fun people on here of all ages.

Yes, absolutely. I think the restriction should include High School students as well. Sorry to say, but I'm tired of hearing the question, 'Am I pretty?" Maybe we should ask Y!A to make a P&S just for teeny boppers.

I think the age restriction on here is 13, but I doubt that everyone on here is 13+ I have even read questions where they say that they aer under 13. But what can you do?
