If you are that miserable though I have to ask why are you still living there?
It may be time for you to grow up a bit and take a more mature stand for what you want rather than try to hide and sneek things.
Not being an idiot, I just think that perhaps you have some growing up to do. If you believe that you are correct in your thinking and have respect for yourself, then now would be the time to show it.

that was a truly heartless and rotten thing to do - congratulations on ensuring that every christmas for the rest of his life, even when you are free of being married to him - that is the memory which will stick out most - you want your happiness, what gives you the right to deny him his in the future?

Your timing could have, and should have, been much better. I doubt you've even talked to him about the relationship and what was making you unhappy before you "cuddled up" with his father.
Sounds like he will be better off without a cheating, cruel, calloused woman as his wife.

No it was not acceptable. You should have sat down at the table face to face and gave him the papers. You knew the answer because you thought of the question as to whether it was tacky or not!!!

I was considering doing something like this too. However I chose not too do it around the Holidays. Why wreck them for his future? And besides now he will think about the fact you were sleeping with his father?!!! Uhhh Gross!! Your husband will soon be your exhusband who will be your step son? Yep the holidays will always be full of fireworks by your house. BTW there is a name for someone like you... its something like "HEARTLESS BIT*H!!!

No it is not acceptable. According to law YOU can not serve him. So you just made your filing null and void and will have to refile...that includes another court fee...hopefully cuddling up with his father was worth it.
