We are having a Black Parade funeral because "the Black Parade is dead".
Gerard has been saying that at concerts and in interviews.
TBP website has been flatlined.
MCR is no longer in costume at concerts, and they just want to go back to being themselves, not pretending to be TBP. It taking a toll on them, and they feel limited.
When the '09 album comes out, it is supposed to be like a grown-up Bullets.
So to honor this, we are giving TBP its much deserved funeral, and celebrating its life....
The 11th is when Mama is supposed to be released, that why we chose that day.
Wear merch, listen to BP music, ask TBP related questions, and do whatever else you feel you need to do to say good bye to the end of an era

There's a funeral for the Black Parade album. Gerard has been saying in shows and interviews that "the black parade is dead," so we're having a funeral to celebrate its life. We're having it on Jan. 11 because that's when (supposedly) the vid for "Mama" comes out. Don't freak out. Every true fan is invited, and means you, MCRchick.

MCR have decided they nolonger want to play TBP anymore so after they play their last show they are no longer playing TBH apparently, Gerard way said in a recent interview that they arent goint to pull a stunt like TBP again they are going back to their true music like bullets and three cheers when they release a new album in 2008/early 09.
So ill miss you The black parade its been fun while it lasted but YAY! My Chemical Romance are back!
I think january 11th is their last show date thats why its called TBP funeral, Lets be excited for their new album release :)

DUHZ u don't know!!!! okayz let me explain!!!!! The Black Parade is offically dead, even gerard said so. It was just time for them to move on. Some of us from Y!A! r holding a funeral for TBP. It's not held anywhere really, it's just to remember and celebrate TBP and greive 4 its dieing. so wear ur merch and blast the cd cause TBP is finally dead!!! *cries* :'(

the black parade funeral :( i dont really get why. i've heard that they're just going back to their old style from before TBP. and i guess we're celebrating it because it was great while it lasted and we're celebrating its amazing life!!
