I don't know. It depends on where you're pointing all your weapons at. Even if you fire them towards the sky, they would somehow be able to hit a target on earth ( I hope it doesn't fall back on your ship). Cross your fingers that those shots don't hit any country or countries or you'll start world war 3 which shouldn't happen and without provocation if not for the flimsy reason of celebrating New Year with more than just the ordinary fireworks in the sky.

The Navy wont sink your ship if you are firing up these weapons with permission from your country and the neighboring countries involved in the international sea/borderline. Knowing that you cant do it within the perimeters near the shoreline(so people couldn't watch such firecrackers by the reason 'armed and dangerous'), then you must light em up in the middle of the uhh, let's see,, pacific ocean?, or choose one from the seven seas..
It wont make impressive noises, as that, no one will be there to watch and hear it.. (except for the navy seals who would be staying intact in their submarines).
