I have tried them all and like the smell of liquid Gain and also like the way it cleans my clothes. I also use Bounty dryer sheets. Its all a personal preference so just experiment until you find one you like. My husband is allergic to Tide.

For your whites use Tide or Tide with bleach in warm or hot water.. For jeans and athletic pants (both of which you should reverse when washing) use a detergent for dark laundry and wash in cold water. For sweaters. reverse them and use a detergent for delicate laundry in cold water on the gentlest cycle possible. If you want only one detergent for everything, I'd suggest Arctic Power, if it's available in your region.

Its always best to dry clean or handwash sweaters (never ever throw them in the dryer! Lay flat on a towel instead) to prevent pilling. ALWAYS avoid fabric softener with sweaters - it actually makes the pilling worse.

As far as laundry detergent goes, I like Tide. Never had a problem with it and I love the smell.

I like Gain because of the smell. I wash most sweaters by hand ,spin in the machine to take out most of the water then place them flat on a towel to dry. Embroidered or special jeans go in the machine in the delicate cycle with Cheer for dark colors.

Well the type of laundry detergent is a matter of opinion. But Tide is a good detergent and it also comes in color-bleach try that and see how it works. Good Luck

I like Tide because my husband needs the extra cleaning power. For more fancier things- I like Cheer with no color and no sent. It has no additives in it and keeps delicate fabrics in better shape and won't fade the color.

Sweaters should all be hand washed in Cheer and not put in the dryer!

look at natural stuff
like borax
stuff that you can safely use without worry about if it has
benzene in it.
mule team borax been around along time. you know the
greenish small box abt $3.00 or so.
watch out for products that have benzene in it.
Benzene (other words that mean Benzene)
baking soda is good too.
lemon juice is good too.
vinegar and hair conditioner make a good rinse cycle
includer.
Benzene is in everything (causes cancer)
benzene is controlled by the gov't in cleaners.
and it is controlled by gov't in our gasoline.

but when it comes to all our personal stuff like shampoos,
foods, cleaners, water, drinks gov't isn't concern if we die
from it.

People come up with cancer and doctors feather their nest.
And act like they don't know the culprits to simple things.
