Yes, I left an abusive ex and he broke into the apartment I was staying about a week later and took me out at knife point. He kept me in hiding for a few days and I was afraid, really afraid, for my life during that time. He ended up being caught by the police and served 15 of a 20 yr sentence. Just after 1 yr of being released he abused another woman and was shot by the police and died during the encounter.

Yes, on a jet. During a terrible storm. The lightening was terrible, the air pockets so bad it was like riding a roller coaster. People were screaming, children were crying. The pilot had us "assume the crash position". Thought for sure we were going to crash. Knew my "number was up".

I found myself holding hands with an obnoxious drunk (he was horrible....loud, annoying the flight attendants. Sloppy fat, his crack showing, like the norge repair man on SNL) We were clinging together like long lost friends.

We finally had a bumpy landing. Never has the ground felt so good beneath my feet.

Happy New Year!

I watched this film "The Descent" Every-freakin-time I walk out in the dark I get creeped out! Even though I know that underground boogeymen don't exist. I've been leaving the lights on at night!

Yes i got lost in the jungle in Thailand alone at night...

I have never been so scared in my entire 28 years on this planet...
Just imagine, pitch black, all kinds of poisonous snakes and scorpions and all the noises of the jungle that you are very unfamiliar with....I have no shame to admit that i was crying my eyes out. I wouldnt wish that experience on my worst enemy..

The day my hubby told me we were emigrating to Uk i was petrified moving to a different country. I did not know much about the Uk, i thought it always rained here, in the movies it always looked wet and dark. To the extend that the african gentleman who worked with me gave me a huge bunch of banana's to bring with to Uk because just like me he believed it was always dark here and wanted me to have the banana's as there is no sun to grow them here. It was scary and still is in a strange country , that is why it is so nice when English people smile and greet you.:)

Yea, when I was ambushed and then beaten by a gang of Brit army thugs, I prayed for it to be over quickly. But thankfully, some of my brave mates came and intervened.
