in the state of florida. how far back does child support go when it comes to determining back pay,and child support payments. I believe I've heard 2 years but I'm not sure. thanks for the answers in advance

Goes back to the date it was filed. You also need to consider the statue of limitations on collecting child support, in most cases thats 10 years.

I hate to give you the bad news but it only goes back two years. They have changed it because they men and women will never be able topay everything. So you will get two years of back child support. I had the same thing that happen to me and the judge told me that I would only get two years back support but that is better then nothing at all
