He says that if the Cowboys win he will give me 25,000 a year increase un pay but if they lose I got to put in my two weeks.

What should I do?

Kinda of risky... I might have to let go of all the side girlfriends for awhile if I get fired. Don't know if it worth it.

GO COWBOYS!

My guess is that he's joking.

If he's not, consider this:
The Cowboys odds to win the Super Bowl are about 11:2 (as posted by "bodog.com"). The worst odds any bookie or casino in Vegas would give you would be 5:1. That means you could bet $5,000 to win $25,000. The bet your boss is offering is giving you horrible odds. Even if you were making a fairly low salary like $25,000/year (I bet you're making more because your boss seems to have a lot of money to throw around) he's giving you 1:1 odds or even money, which is horrible. So you could bet $25,000 to win $25,000 with your boss or $5,000 to win $25,000 with any other sportsbook.

This does NOT sound like a smart bet AT ALL.
Good luck.

Go for it. $25,000 is a boat load of money. Even if you lose the bet, you can always get another job. You shouldnt put in your 2 weeks notice if you lose the bet. Then when he tries to fire you what would his reason be? I beat him in a bet? Would sound like a bunch of nonsense and you could take him to court. LOL!

If you take this bet your boss will see that you aren't a very responsible person and would not want to risk your decision making for his business in the future. Perhaps this is a test just to see if you are willing to give up your job for greed. If you do take the bet/bait and he has to pay you 25 grand, do you think he'll keep you on his payroll? I doubt it. Jobs are too hard to come by these days to jeopardize your future over something that is by no means guaranteed.

I would not bet on them winning...I still think the Packers will beat them in the NFC Championship...and it won't matter because the Pats will beat whoever goes to the Super Bowl for the NFC...

I would not take it. I think the Cowboys have a good shot at getting to the SB, but, I do not think they can win it all.

Depends on the kind of job you'll have to quit when the Cowboys lose.

If it's a minimum wage job, no big deal.

If it's a good job that you'll have a hard time replacing, then it's time to shut your trap and get back to work!

EDIT: For those of you too dumb to know any better, "put in my two weeks" is a euphemism for "quit" (as in, "put in my two weeks' notice"). It's NOT "just two weeks."

Don't bet on the Cowboys. Romo could still screw this whole thing up. They have been very fortunate thusfar.

No, don't take the bet cause Terrell Owens and Tony Romo are not 100% healthy and you can not mix business with pleasure.
