When there aren't upcoming tests or quizzes to review, they'll still scream at me saying "GO STUDY!!!" .... study what? This is why asian parents are so hard to trust. Christmas break started 5 days ago and they're already like, "Please go study!!!" ... uhmmm ... study what?

Study means to memorize, to acquaint yourself with material.
Read ahead. Read parts not assigned, learn something new everyday.
Make up study questions for the material you need to know and quiz yourself-ask your parents to quiz you.
Outline the upcoming chapters, and look up words you don't know.
Write a poem.
Practice your handwriting, because it is probably horrible. Practice typing skills.
If you are making straight "a"s then take a break and do something silly like climb a tree or draw mustaches on magazine models.
Otherwise, study.

If you cannot define "go study" -- it probably means you NEED to study more!
Your parents are telling you not to waste your entire holiday time. Do you have assigned reading for next semester?
Do you have a project or paper you know will be due next semester?
Do you know what topics you will be covering in your history and/or literature classes you can research a bit?
Do you have a topic that simply interests you? You can study that as well.
Study is NOT just reviewing for tests and/or quizzes. It's acquiring knowledge for the sake of the knowledge. Perhaps THAT is what your parents are trying to get across!

Studying isn't only for what you are currently doing in school. You can read ahead, read previous material, or just read something that interests and educates you.
On the other hand, I know how annoying and demanding some parents are. Just go in your room and do something else. Or lie that your going to the library or a study group.

Maybe they just don't like spending time with you and want you out of their way, i would emancipate my self from them and steal better parents.
