People try to advance that Hillary is not likeable because there are people in this country that just plain CAN'T STOP HATING. The hillary haters are mostly right wingers who hate anybody who is not self-righteous, indignant hypocrites like themselves. The right wingers spend all their time and energy hating Hillary. The right wingers know that, when Hillary is elected, their blood thirsty, tax cutting, debt spending, minority hating, woman hating ideology is going into the abyss. It is uncomprehensible how people are still hating Hillary when she's the only candidate who is READY TO LEAD ON DAY ONE.

That is primarily an effect of name recognition. I just looked at the results (your link is a bit suspect) but Hillary is, once again, at the top of the list. However, what is also remarkable is that 21% said "other" and 30% said "no opinion" that is a whopping 51% who do not admire any of the women on the list. Hillary only garnered 13% who do and that was enough to win. So, while she may have won the poll she only has 13% who actually admire her. Hardly something to crow about.
Happy New Year!

It's just politics and the media.
Not to say that pols might not be all that accurate, but they are probably more accurate than what you here people say.
It is true when someone becomes a candidate and becomes popular and well liked or admired, then expect them to have almost just as much opposition from the media, opposing politicians, people that repeat what they hear, and of course this is all part of any campaign.

Not a good day to be a Woman in America, if someone who is so unlikeable is the most admired.
I like and admire my wife more then any other woman in America, even Hillary.

It's a celebrity question. Name the most famous woman you know. Oprah came in a close second. Who won the most admired man in America? GW Bush. See? Hillary is still not likable.

18 votes out of 101. That's a real mandate to take to the voters. Oprah came in 2nd.
Same poll. George Bush beat Bill Clinton and Al Gore.
Whats your point about a pointless poll?

Probably they change their opinion when they see this News Report extracted from Lousiana Weekly:
By Hazel Trice Edney, NNPA Editor-in-Chief
December 24, 2007
U. S Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-Texas), who has announced her endorsement of Clinton, says she believes Clinton's long record of service to children shows where her heart really is.
She says she is especially impressed that Clinton, as a young lawyer, served as a staff attorney for Marian Wright Edelman's Children's Defense Fund during her post graduate studies and that she served as a consultant to the Carnegie Council on Children.
"This is a very important election and I do think that as people begin to know Sen. Clinton and they know her personally and they know her story, she has an enormously convincing story of someone who has empathy and out of empathy, one can act upon the pain of others and the joy of others," says Jackson-Lee.
While Scott says his endorsement of Obama has nothing to do with the fact that he is Black, Jackson-Lee made no bones about what she sees as an opportunity to raise the ceiling for women in America.
"I do think that as women, whether it is minority women or majority women, we have a long way to go. Now, it is frankly innovative and inspiring that America would find its way to possibly selecting someone who has both talent and experience who happens to be a woman, which would make us move to where countries around the world have already gone in selecting women as heads of state," Jackson-Lee says.

Admired by who? I have yet to find anyone that will vote for her other then an 17 year old girl who can't vote. Polls are all skewed towards the position of the requester.

Voting and polling are like night and day. The end result is the only true test of the politicians effort. Whether the are liked or not should not be the issue. What can they do for us, and the world?

The question has to be liked by who, and remember that she is running for president against other men, not just women. It would be different if she was voted the most admired presidential candidate.

Mark Twain:
" There are three types of lies. Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics."
I really don't care whose hand is up Gallup's butt to pull off these results...she still sucks as a senator, and will suck as a president...
there is nothing likeable about here.
