Sigh.......one inch of fish rule mentioned, not good. One inch of adult sized fish per gallon is better, but just use it as a guideline when stocking community type of fish. Meaning, when you buy a molly that's 1 inch, it will grow to 3 inches, so take the 3 inches into account when stocking.

No, too small for angels. THey need larger, for a pair I think it's recommended at least 30 gallons.

Don't add male and female bettas together, bad idea. You could go with several female bettas though, they're usually pretty good together, they may get a little pissy with one another at first while they establish their pecking order, but should be fine. I would stick with community/tropical type of fish for your tank size. Here's a link with some fish profiles to look at:

I would go with livebearers, but only the males, with females you're quickly overrun with fry/babies. Rasboras, danios, smaller tetras, etc. Just try and stick with fish that'll stay under the 3 inch range. And keep in mind, a lot of fish like tetras prefer to be in small groups of 3-5, and with your tank size, that would probably be the max you could put in, around 5 of 6 fish, again depending on what type of fish you get.

None.... Angels need schools to keep stress levels down. They grow to be 4-6 inches. I keep Discus (VERY SIMILAR only MUCH more expensive) and the rule of thumb is about 18 gallons per ADULT fish. Of course you can put 5 babies in your tank, it wont hold even 1 adult.... (think long term!)

Guppies Mollies Platys Swordtails Bettas Corydoras..... the list goes on and on..

Stay way from tetras... again they are schoolers and require 6 or more which again is too many for your tank and 10 gallons doesnt leave mus swimming room.

Your tank will hold 4-6 fish depending on what you get

Get a 55 gallon tank and stand from wal-mart ($200) and that will hold you your 5-6 Angels.... Keep in mind Angels are a Blackwater fish... much more difficult than most

Absolute minimum is a gallon yet you're unlikely to detect many bettas residing in a gallon of water who're greater advantageous than chuffed. I actual have stored a betta in a gallon before and that they in no way final long. interior the destiny i will in no way shop a betta in something smaller than 2.5 gallons and could even in all risk pick a 5 gallon if area accepted it.

A good rule is to have one inch of fish per every gallon. If you have a fish that is 3 inches long, then you can have up to 3 in a ten gallon tank. OR, if you have 2 Five inch fish.

Doesn't matter how you mix and match them, just be sure not to exceed 10 inches of fish in a 10 gallon tank.

:)

If you only have a 10 gallon i would get 2 zebra danos and a red tailed shark that would be perfect and add a snail later on

another great idea is getting a male betta and 2 or 3 female bettas and mabye an albino frog

Yes angel fish are cool....If you have the proper equipment, filter, heater etc. with the ideal PH. The standard pat answer is for one gallon per 1-1.5 inch of fish. You will probably want an algae eater too so probably 3-4 is going to be your max.
Good luck.

I think your allowed to have 10 fish in a ten gallon tank because each fish needs one gallon of water and sothat adds up to the total amound of fish. and it works the same way for any other fish. But don't put more than one Beta fish (Chinese fighting fish) in the same tank. They will fight and one will die!

i would suggest 5 but no more than 7. its according to what size they are. google angelfish and find out how to take care of them, before you commit. you may discover an easier fish to take care of, or maybe even cooler fish to buy.
