I'm just trying to figure out why people like Boston University. Please contribute a reason or two if you have. Thanks. ^_^

1. Boston is an incredible city for college students. Its not as distracting or as big as New York or L.A. There are tons of other colleges in the area.
2. There are tons of classes you can take.
3. They have great lecturers/events.
4. Many illustrious people have graduated from BU, including Martin Luther King Jr., a bunch of Pulitzer Prize winners, David Brand (head of Lehman Brothers), Faisal al-Fayez (the former Prime Minister of Jordan), a number of Senators and Congressmen, and many more.
5. The student/faculty ratio is 1:15, which is pretty good for such a big school
6. They have a rather large endowment
7. It has a very good reputation

1. Because you really want to go to college in the Boston area
2. You didn't get into Harvard
3. You didn't get into MIT
4. You didn't get into Tufts
5. You didn't get into Brandeis
6. You didn't get into Boston College
7. You didn't get into Wellesley College

I can't think of any others.
