What's the deal with stars? Should I be wanting them for some reason in particular, or is it just bragging rights?

Hi Sara! I have no idea why some people care about receiving or "collecting" stars. It must be an ego booster for some. lol
I find it amusing when I see someone on here ask people to star their questions. It's not like they're refundable or anything! lol
I think starring someones question does help get the asker more responses.
