He is dropping in the polls like a ton of bricks. He looks tired and sickly. If he can't make it through the easy part (campaigning). How does he expect to run the country? I welcome any thoughts.

He: looks tired, looks sickly, refuses to answer questions, behaves like a snotty kid, does not campaign enough, has no real vision of his own, is a Bushite trying to pose as a Reaganite, is too much 'busines as usual', and is becoming senile. He has no hope in Hell of becoming President.

I think it was a mistake from the beginning. All the Republican candidates this time around are flawed. Romney is a Mormon and fundamentalists won't vote for him. McCain has lost peoples' respect. Ron Paul is the maverick that the party hates. Giuliani is just -creepy-. Huckabee is a good speaker, seems sincere enough, but his brand of Christianity doesn't conform to the Reagan/Falwell/Robertson standard.

So people thought if Thompson got into the race he'd save the day, a good speaker, another Reagan. But he looks old and saggy and tired and he has nothing to say. Big disappointment.

His campaign is virtually non-existent. If he expects people to vote for him to run the country the way he runs his campaign this will be devastating. He is counting on his acting skills in Law and Order to bring in some votes. But, if you really think about it he has very few scenes with minimal lines. He does look sick and worn out. He just needs to call it quits.

He doesn't seem to have any passion to him at all. Just another of the tired old White guys the Republicans are putting out this time around. His campaign will be toast by Super Tuesday, February 5.

nicely, I evaluate myself an self sufficient voter. final election I voted for Bush and the '00 I voted for Gore. definitely, i visit probable vote democrat this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days because of the fact all the Republican applicants appear like duds to me. one in all the different answerers stated that Fred Thompson has continuously been referred to as stupid and it form of feels somewhat obtrusive. in basic terms because you're an actor, does not recommend you may run a central authority, in basic terms ask Arnold. If not something, McCain a minimum of isn't afraid to talk his innovations and pass against the social gathering in spite of if that is not a nicely-liked pass. Given his somewhat stupid techniques and how he's run it, Thompson is a dud. Given his militia and congressional checklist, i might say McCain remains a stud. although, i think of McCain is in basic terms too available to get the help of the Republican social gathering. He ought to pass self sufficient or Democrat. I additionally do not in all probability comprehend the help for Ron Paul. This guy needless to say is clueless on the thank you to run a central authority because he needs to have quite not something run from the government to maintain the country going.

He is beginning to rise in Iowa. I think he is waiting for the top runners to implode which is happening now. He does need to be more vocal but probably doesn't have the money. What happens now and into the primaries matters the most.

Fred Thompson is the candidate, that's what. He's dishwater-dull and looks older than his years.
