I was, I mean, WOULD BE, disgusted with myself and would head right for Lenscrafters.

I think any normal person would have a change of perspective. There is no way you could see a child as a "hottie" and be healthy in your mind. However, I have seen very young girls that I thought were sexually attractive and then found out they looked older than their actual age. As with any normal person, my perspective changed instantly. There is a moment of recoil when you say ewww I can't believe I thought she was a grown woman... erase erase erase.. gross. Then, I no longer perceived them in a sexual context at all, and my mind then said Oh my what a beautiful child. When she grows up she's gonna be a heartbreaker!

It is a sad testament to our society that 1) someone finds a child a "hottie" and 2) her parents allow her to dress or make herself up so that she is indistinguishable from a young adult.
I have a beautiful 12 year old daughter who is NOT allowed to wear makeup or suggestive clothing.
And yes, you should walk away feeling disgusted with yourself after realizing she was a CHILD.

same happened to me. I was at jelly beans and they were doing a skating competition for 11-13 year old boys. I'm 15 and i look at younger boys as my little brothers. So the guy called that age group out and the hot emo guy that i was eyeing all night went onto the floor. I felt sick.
I dont think it makes you a pedophile, but as long as you dont talk to her weirdly or anything then you wont be called a predator. You have to be careful these days.

If you thought she was beautiful, but realized she was a minor, then you can still appreciate(from afar) the beauty that drew you to her, if you truly thought she was pretty. I say once you realize she is wayyyyyyyy to young, then you should be on your way. There is no need to be ashamed, if you did not know.(If you did, then shame on you Mr. Nasty)
Children are maturing a lot faster than just a few years back. My nieces have been turning heads of older males, since they were very young.

Give or take a couple of years?! That could make her nine. Appreciating beauty is one thing but being sexually turned on is another. People who are sexually aroused by children might want to try to get some insight into themselves and if this is something that could be acted on then they need serious therapy.

I think this does classify you as a pedophile. Why?...because you are QUESTIONING the right and wrong in the situation.
There is nothing wrong with seeing a pretty girl and saying to yourself..."Oh she's pretty" But to call her a hottie even after you realize her age...is suspicious.

There's nothing wrong with you. I have seen eleven year old girls with more hips and *** than myself who is 21. Puberty strikes them faster these days and if you saw her from afar it is natural that a man will look. I just hope you aren't looking at kiddie porn online or still pursuing looking at children. Sometimes it is hard to tell though. Honest mistake on your part. But don't let it happen again or else!

beauty attracts no matter what age you should not feel disgusted but at the same time after you knew how old she was you shouldn't be thinking nasty thoughts either. And believe me it is not your fault all these girls are looking way older than their age and all the hormones put in our food now makes a big difference in their body image.

Kids are starting to look like adults these days! So as long as you realize the error of your ways you should be good. Is is okay to think that someone is beautiful, regardless of age, as long as it isnt a sexual attraction. Unless you are 13 or 14, but if not and you are sexually attracted to her, get some help!
