her personality matured. People use the term "grow up" to mean a lot of things, but here it means that she stopped being such a total punk just because she felt like it. I totally loved her look when she was a skater girl, but that look can only last so long, you know? Not that it got old, but that she got old and just out grew it.

Just like a sixteen year old girl might love to have her room decked out it neon pinks and greens, but when she is 20 and in a dorm room, the neon colors might still be cool, but they are a little young for a person that age. Its a fashion thing.

If our mothers ran around in the 80s outfits that used to be so cool we would all die of embarrassment. Its not that they don't still like that style, but that they just out grew it.

All women change. If we didn't then we would still be wearing matching hot pink socks with the scrunchie. Watch save by the bell or Fresh Prince of Bellaire if you have no clue what I am talking about.

She was around 16 when she first on the scene now she is in her twenties. She has outgrown that stage. I hope your mother doesn't have the one foot high teased hair. A great example of change is Madonna.

No, I don´t think of so, i think of she´s in simple terms grown up, each and all the faces exchange with the time, I´m 20 and needless to say, I don´t have the comparable face whilst i grow to be sixteen... that could desire to be bizarre, you may continuously grew with a babydoll face, like Avril Lavigne´s face, although if it quite is going to alter in some way... and she or he hasn´t exchange the way she is plenty, she remains farting *lol*, and she or he remains a skatergirl, I observed her interior the making of the ideal rattling component-album... she is plenty happier than ever, you in simple terms could desire to take heed to Innocence... "i found a place so risk-free, no longer a single tear, the 1st time in my existence and now it´s so sparkling, i've got faith calm I belong I´m so chuffed right here..." "i think of approximately each and all the failings that make existence large, I wouldn´t exchange a component approximately it, it quite is the ideal feeling..." "It´s so beatiful it makes you wanna cry..."

She grew up a little. We all change with age.

Wow, if you honestly think that all people stay the same forever than you obviously have a lot of growing up to do yourself. Physically, the human brain changes over time.

I feel she "sold out" to the record labels...being something that radio can play and that might be untrue to what she did when she first was performing.
Everyone changes, but Avril changed for the worst...a "sell out" who thinks she's "punk rock" or something :[

Um, wow. No offense, but that last sentence was wierd.

Avril is not actually a "woman". Shes a young adult, and young adults grow. And maybe Avril just WANTED to change. SHe is still my fave singer. I liked her acoustic versions. ANd yes, even though you dont want to hear it, she DID grow up just a little, and has changed a little by that growing up. Got a problem? Too bad. Avrils life is not your life unless your her mangeer/family/bodygaurd, etc.

Umm...maybe it's the "image" that she wants the public to see that has changed. People in the public eye can control the persona (s) that they want people to see, think, and hear. In front of a camera, you can be cute, bad, whatever you want people to think you are.

What do you have against her? So she changed a little. Everyone does. I'm sure you've changed a little over a couple of years.

Why do you care? You probably changed between being 12 and 70.. it happens.. It's normal.. If it doesn't affect you.. why bother? did she change in the sense that she shows up at your house to spank you? did she burn down your house? did she steal your handbag? or copy protected her cd's? all of these are valid reasons for asking.. otherwise.. go ask her face to face..

People continuously evolve. I don't know anyone that's the exact same person they were 5 or 10 years ago.
