Absolutely. Members of Al Queda have already been caught trying to cross the American-Mexican border. How many weren't caught? Canada had a hell of a time a few years back explaining why they allow terrorist training camps to operate in their country and allow known terrorists to enter their country in the first place. Their explanation generally boiled down to the fact that they don't keep very good track of the people who enter their country once they are there, and their laws requiring who can enter basically allow just about anyone to seek citizenship there. They do no background checks. If you want to enter Canada to seek citizenship, and they ask you why, all you have to do is claim religious oppression or some other such nonsense and in you go. It's one of the reasons it was so easy for those avoiding the draft during Vietnam to go to Canada and start a new life. Hard to imagine terrorists who wish to do harm to us not taking advantage of their open door system. The guy caught some years back who intended to blow up LAX came from a terrorist camp in Canada.

There are terror cells here, but they are not active. Active would be currently bombing/assassinating, etc...which they aren't. They are sleeper cells awaiting orders. When they become active, we will de-activate them. American civilians have more: guns, cars, trucks, boats, planes, computers, radios, etc, than the combined police, and military, forces in most other nations. Terrorists who mess with us-American civilians in the homeland-will wish they hadn't. Terrorists are pansies. We have more murders, rapes, etc, in NYC weekly than Iraq has war deaths in a month We are accustomed to violence. A suicide bomber on a subway would do less damage than a typical gang rumble. Americans grow up watching murder on tv, playing at simulated murder for recreation, and actually murdering people for fun and profit from pre-teen years on. Compared to the typical NYC high school aged gang banger, Osama Bin Laden is an amateur.

Yes, but it's just a belief and nothing more. Unlike many European countries, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the US hasn't broken up any serious, active terror plots since 9-11-01. I wonder why. I think it's possible that the US foiled a few plots the public knows nothing about because the perps were dealt with in such an illegal fashion that nothing about their arrests or identities will ever see the light of day. It's too bad, because after all the rights Americans have given up, we should be seeing some results.

You would be a fool not to believe it, and the worst part about it is that the governments of both countries probably know about them and are waiting for them to plan something big and splashy before they do anything about it. Or they will probably let them do something awful so that they will have an excuse to take away more of our civil liberties....

Yes, very much so. If it's this easy for 12 million illegal immigrants to cross our border in 5 years time, then it's just as easy for a few thousand Islamofascist terrorists.

Yes I do and they don't have to be outside terrorists either , they can be homegrown, but ardent followers of people who will tell them anything and they will believe it to further the cause of hatred , violence, fear because that's the political agenda their radical extremist " religious leaders and teachers" want them to believe.
