Sean Connery was the ultimate Bond. Roger Moore was the funniest. Daniel Craig has returned class and suaveness to the character. George Lazenby was the proverbial turd in the punchbowl! The others were just fillers, good but not very notable.

this is a subjective answer
I feel that Sean Connery was the best Bond, followed by Pierce Brosnan.
Some people loved Roger Moore in the role. I couldn't stand all the silliness.
I do not like the new Bond.
The debate on who was/is the best/worst James Bond has been going on for years on the net.

I believe Sean Connery gave the character the larger than life image James Bond had.
