I am very disappointed and confused that my post was deleted from the questions and answers. I have posted this same question in several forum groups; Lesbian Gay Bisexual, ;aw and Ethics, Other-Culture &Groups, Religion &Spirituality, Psychology and Politics. The first three forums that I have mentions (Lesb Gay & Bisexual, Law and Ethics, and Other-Culture & Groups) my questions were deleted. My questions remained in the forum of Religion & Spirituality, Psychology and Politics. I believe that there is a "political/ philisophical bias" in terms of which questions of mine are deleted.

None of my questions have broke any rules other than the fact that maybe some does not agree with my politics. Hasn't yahoo learned to discriminate between innapropriate speech and freedom of speech? I do not think that advocating for gay rights/social justice in an intelligent and rational way should be a cause for censorship.

I hope that you will go back and review my writings and determine for yourselves if what I said was innappropriate. It may be possible that there are many that do not agree with my politics, but I believe that this great venue that you have provide should encourage the freedom and exchange of ideas.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

I was checking it out today, and saw that your question here in the LGBT section was not there (I had answered it and wanted to contrast it with the answers in the R&S section). It was totally deleted off my answered questions list. And since it was actually FOR gay rights, I have NO idea why it was reported here and deleted.

I am sorry that your question was deleted. It certainly was a thought provoking question, in my opinion.

Well, I can see why your question was deleted: your "question" was largely a rant that presented your opinion as inflexibly correct, presented inclusive, controversial, and incorrect research as concrete evidence (without links) and asked no clear, succinct question.

Of course this happens all the time at Yahoo...and I'm morally outraged at your religion, not your sexual orientation...

Ask yourself the question, are you more upset because your question was deleted or because people rejected your argument/you?

The blunt truth: your question wasn't a question and should have been deleted from THIS forum for that reason alone. There are a gazillion forums out there for you to post a rant and interaction with it -- use them for that purpose.

If you want a question and answer dialog that gets to the heart of the matter, stop your damn preaching and ask a question that people who disagree with you but also have a brain in their head will want to answer.

I asked a question and it got deleted within 5 minutes I asked again because I knew it wasnt a violation it stayed up the second time. Not sure whats going on there but be careful though you dont want to get deleted for to many violations.

I have not seen any of your writings but could it be that the way you are writing might be in violation of the Y!A rules? Obviously you are offending someone.

BTW - Since Y!A is considered a private site the "Freedom of Speech" excuse does not apply. By signing up to participate on the Q & A you have entered into a contract to follow and abide by the Y!A rules.

If it's the same question posted to R&S, it was probably deleted because it's not a question. And when whole paragraphs are in caps, that's a sign that it's a rant.

I've had several answers deleted, and I couldn't see the reason. When I wrote to "customer care", or whatever the link is, they only answer with a standard reply which directs you to the policy. It's rubbish

i'm totally with you on freedom of speech being different from inappropriate speech. we should learn to respect people's opinions even if such opinion may different from our personal views.
