Hillary Clinton said she had hundreds of women over 90 who will vote for her in the Iowa caucus

My thought is not a critcism of Hillary because I have stopped caring a long time ago.

But "hundreds"? Will there really be even 200 women over the age of 90 who will vote in the Iowa Caucus on the Democratic side for her?

Not saying they won't support her, but I'm just asking is it statisticly likely or even possible?

Iowa has approximately 68000 residents over 85, so yes, it's statistically possible that there are hundreds of women over 90. http://www.iowadatacenter.org/quickfacts

When a politician such as Hillary makes statements like this, it is not to state a fact as much as to influence others into believing it is a fact and perhaps causing them to make it a fact.

A lot of Moderate voters can easily be influenced by the belief that the herd is all going in a particular direction. Most of these so called "Moderate or Independent" voters are actually just people with no real idea what is important in America.

When the press focuses on them it makes them feel important rather than rudderless. These people will vote whichever way seems to be the majority. Both parties know this and will do everything they can to fool them into believing that the tide is in their favor. So, you can count a lot of 90 year old women in the clueless and easily manipulated category.

Happy New Year!

I guess it COULD happen.... but something tells me that this was another "made up" Hillary Rambling.

Recall the embarrassment Hillary Clinton suffered when she tried to explain she'd been named after Sir Edmund Hillary after he'd climbed Mount Everest -- only to have it pointed out that she had been five years old at that time? Well, she still seems a little confused about her birth date. Here's an interesting passage in today's debate:

HC: We've got to enlist the American people the way we did in a previous generation for the Apollo program. As a little girl, I remember being thrilled about that, and feeling there was something I could do. [Shrugs] My fifth-grade teacher said it was to study math and science, but it gave me an idea of actually contributing to my country.
Hillary Clinton was born in 1947. Assuming she started the first grade as a six-year-old as most kids do, she would have been in the fifth grade in 1957-1958. The Mercury program didn't start until 1961, and Apollo started in 1966. John Kennedy didn't even make his speech about going to the moon until she was a teenager, not a "little girl".

It's possible, if they're all nuts.
Try to remember that Hillary would say anything just to get elected. But I doubt that women over 90 are ready for another four, or eight years of Whitehouse scandals.

Hillery Clinton is a liar. It has been proven hundreds of times. It doesn't matter what she says, it is a lie.

Sure it is possible, there are dead people donating money to her campaign. I wouldnt be suprised if the oldest living american would vote for her either.

Besides you will never know who voted for who unless they poll all the 90 yr olds and ask.
