hi. i love my rabbit so whatever he does is important :).
a lot of times when he lies down to rest he'll sway his head back a few of times as in a neck workout :). why do you think he does this. thanx and Happy Holidays xxx

I love bunnies too....
the bunny is just finding his comfort zone...in order to become relaxed....

nothing to worry about...

other animals do the same thing...my cat does it too...

Rabbits with red eyes (and some with a red glow to the eyes) often do that. Their eyes are a little different from that of a rabbit with a normal eye colour, and they process light differently. The swaying simply helps them process when they are looking at. It is perfectly harmless, though it certainly has given its fair share of rabbit owners a scare until they found out what it was.

if he/she is only doing this while laying down to rest, more than likely is a new stretch movement.
