i got my period on the 22nd but i usually get it on the 27th and i thought it went away so i had sex i just started the patch for the first time on the 23rd will i get preg??

If i were you i'd use an additional form of contraception - like a condom, cos then you won't have these worries. i've been in your position myself and its just not worth the stress.

ANY TIME you have sex, you risk the chance of pregnancy.
Whether before/during/after your period, or starting the pill, or on the pill religiously for three years, you risk the chance of pregnancy.
NOTHING except for abstinence is 100% effective.

ummm.. if you dont want to get preggo - i wouldnt take the chance! :)
Nothing is fool proof when it comes to the pill!

probably not, but you should really wait at least 2 weeks before letting him come inside you
