Too much dark to the right of it. I'm sure it's not pink eye....LOL. Shadows on the eye aren't that dark, and they don't take up as much room as you've got (from the pupil to the outer edge). Lighten that up a bit and it should look better.

A neat place to check on how eyes look are in Avon catalogs in the eye shadow pages, they do good closeups. Also some women's magazines like Cosmo or Oprah, they do very good photographic closeups of all sorts of eyes and they're great references.

Oh, no eyebrows on this drawing?

Take the shadowing out from the side of the white of the eye. If you are looking at someone straight on, there shouldn't be that dark of a shadow on the side of the eye. maybe a little below the eye where the eyelashes are.

The best advise I can give you is to be patient with yourself,
I don't know how long you have been drawing but I know that
it took me a while for my hand to draw what my eye saw.

One exercise I tried was to look at something and let your
hand draw it. It is amazing what happens! Please try it.

I think it looks fine. It will pop more when you add a little more shading beneath it.
