Or, do something stupid, like using a credit card or taking out a loan and pay more than the device is worth in interest.

Or, try one of those 'get free merchandise for taking part in on-line offers and convincing others to the same thing' deals.

Or, do like the rest of us who want stuff we cannot afford do- get something we can afford or wait.

The ipod will not satisfy your craving for material things. My recommendation is not to buy it and instead save that portion of its cost that you already have. In a few months you will really want something else and you'll have enough money to buy that new thing then.
