im 18 and i dont have any form of identification. a few years ago my house burnt to the ground, and along with it any proof of my existance. ever since ive tried every way possible to get some form of id, but to get id you need a social security card and/or birth cirtificate and to get a social secrity and/or birth cirtificate you need id. im stuck i dont know what else to do.

Contact the hospital where you were born. They may be able to help you get a replacement birth certificate. If they can't help you, call the county clerk in the county you were born.

Then, with the birth certificate, you can get a replacement social security card.

Also, call your local department of motor vehicles and see what documentation is needed for you to get a drivers license.
