He was just a passenger. A passenger in a flight suit. I guess Karl Rove thought that idiots would assume that it was Hero-boy George at the controls. Well, he wasn't! Rove was right to assume people are idiots.

The last time Bush flew anything was before he placed himself on the Voluntary No-fly List with the Air National Guard, the night before a mandatory Drug Test. Hmm!

Not only did he NOT fly the jet, but the impression was made that the carrier was "somewhere" in the war theater....when, in fact, it was a carefully scripted and set shot that would have made a Hollywood director proud. Even the timing of his speech was made based on the position of the sun!!!
Then, of course, there is always that obnoxious banner "mission accomplished"....
Then, to, the cost to the taxpayers of repositioning an aircraft carrier over and over again in the harbor to get "just the right angle"....
Like everything else in his administration, it was a lie; a waste of money and resources and contains no tidbit of truth.

So your telling me that the President of the USA did not try to land a multi million dollar jet plane on a moving aircraft carrier in the middle of the ocean????? Amazing! I still cant believe this. You should be a reporter.

I wanted to throw up after that stunt. Bush has accomplished nothing but making the United States the most hated country in the world.

NO KIDDING, WOW, I never would have fiqured that out. BTW, what made you bring this up, no one ever claimed he was flying the plane, ever.
Oh and on that type of plane, everyone that flies on it wears a flight suit. If you ever get out of the basement and join the military you can learn that and many other fun facts.

He flew in the co-pilot seat for part of the flight. No intelligent person thought he was flying the plane.
