Mending a childs fairy doll.
The elastic holding the legs on the doll perished some months ago.
I was waiting for the little elastics which used to hold the chistmas hats in christmas crackers, but no crackers had elastics this Christmas, so I tied a knot near the end of a bigger elastic, and cut the rest away to fix the fairy dolls legs back on the doll.

This is my first Christmas being without the man I loved who died in January this year. I will always remember this Christmas as being sad and lonely without him :-(
