Your heart is remarkable. One should focus first on diet, and exercise. Both improve it's fitness. Cut down or quit on alcohol and cigarettes. Specific foods can be targeted to improve circulation and any stress nervous or mental problems.

Particularly high on the list of foods recommended for such a person, are grapes, buckwheat, molasses, oats, brewer's yeast, garlic, onions, cabbage, oily fish, and extra virgin olive oil.

Refined foods are not recommended, and caffeine should be limited. Sugar should be within normal limits (I try to stay between 70g -100g per day of all sugars ; as opposed to starchy carbohydrates)

Aluminium should be avoided if possible. That means limit your use of aluminium cooking utensils such as pots, pans, and aluminium foil and aluminium foil trays. Aluminium is highly toxic, in certain doses.

I currently am taking cod liver oil capsules, because my circulation is not very good at extremeties in the cold and because I'm not getting much vitamin D in this miserable Scottish winter.

Love yourself by spending lots of time with yourself, treating yourself to what makes your heart feel good. Warm rooms 20 or 21 degrees celcius is best, and hot baths.

Get plenty of sleep, and listen to soothing music with dimmed lights a lot.

Do this over a period of time, and your heart will heal itself. You just have to ensure enough catalysts are there for the healing to take place naturally.

Your heart heals on its own. Just give it time. Time heals everything.

You can't heal a broken heart, because the memories are always there to remind you of the bitterness, but time does help in lessening the pain.

there is only one answer to this question!! TIME!!! I know it feels horrible right now and you feel like you'll never love again. But a wise woman told me once they are X's for a reason and if that doesn't help get a rebound that usually speeds it up.

1.) eating ice cream
2.) going out with friends having fun
3.) other guys
4.) listening to music that has great lyrics... such as "let me out" from Ben's Brother or "Let it go" from Keyisha Cole... it motivates you not to pick up the phone and call him - knowing that he wouldnt answer you anyways... :(
5.) Time heals all wounds... just let it pass... good luck!
