i have been trying to get my sim to get a tan by sitting outside in a bathing suit all day and it still hasn't worked.

you can not have a sim get a tan in Seasons. you need Bon Voyage to have the sims get a tan, or get burnt.

You can't get a tan with Seasons; that was just something they used in their promo pictures.

you cant do it in the sims seasons you nead to have both seasons and bon voyage in bon voyage go to a beach and sunbath but you nead to have both of them

They don't tan but they can sunburn. It won't work if you dont have custom skins though.
