On Sims 2 pets, How can you have two dogs have puppies, or can you?

perfectvelvet is right, but the sim that asks them to try for puppies also has to have a high relationship with both dogs. you just have that sim as the active one, and click on one of the dogs, then click try for puppy with..., then click the other dog's name.

On the PC, you can (I haven't played any console version).

The two dogs need to have a high relationship with one another and obviously one has to be male and the other female. Then somewhere on the lot, you need to have one of the big dog houses (not the pet beds). Then you can tell one of the dogs to try for puppies with the other dog; depending on their relationship and mood, they will both go into the dog house.

you need a male and a female dog and then u have to wait for them to bond....
