I got a game for Christmas that I already have. It's called BioShock and it's about $50. I was saving up for an Xbox 360 and I have $305 so I wanted to return the game so I could buy the Xbox. The thing is I don't have the receipt. I haven't opened the game yet - it's still in the plastic wrapping that all games come in. I think they said up at Wal Mart that if its unopened to can return it but if it was opened you have to exchange for the same thing.

Whew, that sure makes me feel better. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to return it. I think I'll just combine the store credit or whatever they give me with what I have.

Thanks for the answer!

I'm off to Wal Mart!

Unopened can be returned but it depends on store policy if you get cash back or a store gift card.

I think they will just give you store credit if you dont have the receipt. They take down your ID and stuff so they can track it if you're doing it a lot. But the good thing is that they sell Xbox's at Walmart, so maybe you could combine the money you have with the store credit they will give you and get the Xbox there.
