When a rich person has $50 million or $100 million, why do they still work? When you have that much money, another few million does not matter in living the lifestyle. Either way, it usually can't be spent.

So what is the mentality that makes them work for more money?

Work provides a sense of worth and accomplishment that goes beyond "just the money." You make "the mentality" sound like a disorder. It isn't.

Some people actaully enjoy working and the money doesn't matter to them. They'd rather work than retire and sit around doing nothing important the rest of their lives.

And some people probably want to make more money, to secure their kids future or something like that.

Many will ultimately donate a good portion of what they have earned to charity. Would you continue working if you had the opportunity to make a charity millions as a result? Fortunately, a lot of people in a position to have that kind of impact choose to work.

It is not greed. Especially among billionaires. It's one of 3 things (or a combo)

Boredom
Passion
They like the game

How many days in a row can you sit on the beach and drink margaritas. Your brain goes soft and mushy. You get bored and start thinking....You know....someone should..................(fill in the blank).

Maybe they are still interesting in accomplishing something? Which is probably how they got rich in the first place.
