it's one of the funniest movies ever made. it's been one of my favorites for a long time. nice pick. the way that laughter can effect space/time is, if you're watching this movie on the couch and then you discover that you're on a floor for some strange reason, or if you're laughing so hard that you lost time of how long you'd been laughing or if you remember a particular moment that made you laugh and that time catches up with you and you start laughing again at the same thing some time later.

I find your question to really combine two important concepts that have nothing to do with each other. I will try to say something about each.

The seven other dimensions postulated by modern physics are only different in size from the standard 3 distance dimensions we experience in our daily lives. It is possible that all dimensions have a circular nature to them. If one chose a direction to travel in our standard 3 distance dimensions it is likely that if you could traveled long enough you would return to the location from which you started. I do not mean that you would choose to turn but that by trying to travel in a straight line you would discover that the line reconnects with itself. With current technology it has been able to be confirmed that such a path would have to be at least 100 billion light years in length. Such a path, if it existed, in the so called hidden dimensions(the other 7) has been confirmed to be smaller than the smallest distance we have been able to measure. None of the atoms that make up the physical things we touch are small enough to experience motion in any of the 7 other dimensions.

Laughter transcends everything. Without laughter there would be no reason to continue living. Allan Mullally(currently CEO of Ford) used to be president of the Boeing Commercial Airplane division. Allan used to start most meetings at Boeing with a chart titled working together. It listed a small number of concepts that he considered important to keep his organization successful and profitable. The bottom line on the list was "HAVE FUN". Even this hero of corporate capitalism recognized the importance of having fun.

Yes, it's from a dimension of it's own and transcends every construct. Now I have to find The Party some time! I'm sure I've never seen it before.

I don't think so as the laughter is the part of nature and nature can not transcend nature. It is the spiritual being who can transcend the nature.
