This is a terrific question.
I really enjoy the Christmas traditions that my family and I follow each year, and although to some they may sound stupid or boring, for me, it wouldn't be Christmas without them.
Each year on Christmas eve we all go out to midnight Mass and go for a long walk after. During the walk we usually talk about the fun we had at previous Christmases.
For the New Year we all kind of go our seprate ways for parties etc.. but on New Years day we make sure we are al together and share a glass of champange.
I hope your Chrismas was great for you and I wish you all the best in 2008.

nicely this could be a private custom of mine, yet i won't be able to experience like that is Christmas till i've got watch The Muppet Christmas Carol. As for greater nicely understand ones. Being a Quebecois, Christmas eve is greater considerable than Christmas day.

My family celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve rather than Christmas Day, that's our tradition. <3

our Christmas tradition?.....well, that would be pensacola, florida.....18 (or so) of us in the family.....all crowded into this little shotgun house (2 bedroom, 1 bath)..........start opening presents after b-fast is cooked (between 6 - 7 am)......and then stopping when we are done....which is generally about 11 am.......then, we crash out (or at least i do) for a couple of hours..........then get the ham outta the oven, Granny makes greens and dressing and tater salad....and MMMM MMMM GOOD, we eat! ;-)
and santa was pretty good to me this year.....'cept one thing, but i think i'm gonna have to wait for that "wish" to come true.

Every Christmas, my little brother wakes up at like five a.m., bursting with excitement. He runs into everyone's rooms and jumps on me to wake me up. Then he races to my parents room to wake them up, even though they are dead tired from all the work they had to do during the night (meaning Santa). then my parents go downstairs by the tree and wait with cameras to take pictures of our faces when we come down the stairs. We all marvel the piles of presants, then run for our stockings, which are now on the floor; they are too bulky to hang. after that we open our presents. I open them carefully, and admire each after opening it, my brother shakes them first, to see if a lego star wars kit is inside, then rips open the paper, and after looking at it for 15 seconds, throws it aside to build later. and grabs another one. After we are done, my mom makes cinnamon rolls and we all eat them downstairs at our bar with orange juice and cocoa if we want. then we all play with our toys. We give our parents their gifts, and take over the camera to take pictures of them.
On new years we always go to my neighbor's new years party. I usually fall asleep, then wake up around 11:00 to begin playinig with the noise makers, and all the other new years gadgets. my brother and my neighbor's 2 little kids all run around playing tag or something, then we all watch a movie untill the ball begins to drop. they we all cheer and watch it. Then we eat some snacks and eventully drive home.
I haven't started my new years resolutions. I would like to raise some money to pay my parents back for the countless times i have borrowed money. So far all i have is 7 dollars.

In Greece they used to decorate the house with a small ship, a fishing boat.
But now we decorate the house with a tree....
