but it also says "Buy now"? I don't want to buy it now but I'd like to bid on it but there doesn't seem to be a "bid" button.....

The person selling is not putting it up for auction. They are using ebay like a store front. With a buy it now item, you do not have the opportunity to bid. It's a take it or leave it proposition. I suggest tracking it to see if it sells. If not, you can email the seller to see if he will relist the item on an auction basis, perhaps with a minimum reserve

There is an Ebay Express section, which is primarily a buy it now section and the regular Ebay which is primarilly for bidding. Make sure you are on the regular Ebay section for auctions, and run you search again for the specified item , chances are youll find it.

If you're willing to bid a price of x, why aren't you willing to buy it at a price of x? Its like knowing that your bid will be accepted...
