Would you actually want a knighthood?
Personally I find the whole thing rather snobbish and distasteful.
There are many people who have turned down knighthoods in the past because they don't like what it stands for. Just ask Christopher Lee and Davie Bowie!

In the UK a knighthood is only afforded to a person if they do something totally useless like kick a ball.
