Big Brain Academy Scoring?

Hi, does anyone know how the scoring works in Big Brain Academy?

the more "questions" you answer, the higher the possible score will be, and then the amount of those you get right vs. the total questions there are will be the percentage of the allotted points.

for example (i'm making these scores up for this scenario - it isnt' directly from the game). let's say i answer 15 questions, and that allows 300 points. but i get two wrong, so i get 260 points. but if i answered 13 questions total and got them all right, id' only get like 250 points - answering more questions is beneficial

least, that's how i understand it
