i have to do a project regarding polar bears. I want to build the polar bear out of paper mache, however I don't know what base would be best suited for it.
Help?

How big? If it's a tabletop bear, you could use foil. But a life size bear would need chicken wire or pvc pipe.

Depends how big you want to go but very large styrofoam balls might be a very easy base to work with and they're white so if you don't need to hide any color.

A wooden plaque from a craft store. You can paint or stain it.
