No, but it's idiocy not to recognize it when it does.

I would not consider it idiocy. Whether it is foolish, though, depends on what you mean by "waiting." If you seek out places in which stars are more likely to fall, keeping open to the possibility that one may find the palm of your hand, while also living with an understanding of the likelihood that it will not, then it is neither idiotic nor foolish.

If, however, you put all else on hold in the hope that the right star will reach the palm of your hand, you are probably somewhat foolish. Such a star may well reach you, but by the time it does, it may no longer even be what you need, or enough. Be ready for the star, but do what you must in case it never comes.

Yes, idiocy indeed. If you want it, you've got to reach for it. That's when you know you really deserve it.
It will most likely not just fall for you..unless it's a falling star and you happen to be extremely lucky.

I think it would depend on what kind of star you are waiting for, There are billions and billions of stars, enough for everyone.....you just have to know which star is yours......mine is the 1000,000,456th up 52,100,11 across from the left.....and it will be mine till the day I am no longer here.
