Dvd buners don't have "space". they arent like hard drives that have a certain amount of memories
DVD burners just hold the capacity to burn data onto a DVD
your problem is that there is either no blank DVD in your dvd burner drive or the dvd in there is full
go get a brand new, fresh rewritable DVD and put it in there properly and you should be good

You could just buy a new dvd burner from newegg.com for around $20.

I don't think you understand what your looking at. when you look at the properties of the dvd player and it says it has no space that means there is no disc in there. try sticking in a disk with something on it, and look at properties. it will say there is something there.
