I'm with you! They've completely banned all tobacco products on hospital property where I live! I have to leave campus, to even consider lighting up!
I wanna be a co-plantiff in this lawsuit!!!!!!!!!

It seems many people are in your situation. I do think personally as a non smoker the ban is a good thing, however i do feel your human rights have been violated.
Not sure you will be able to sue Bill Gates but you could protest to government. I'm sure their are plenty of people in the same situation as you, how many people smoke in this world most of these will feel the same as you.
check out the HOW TO website for more information on protesting to government.
hope you find this of use and remember if you do nothing to help your situation you really shouldn't complain.

Unfortunately (or not) this isn't the 70's when even teachers smoked in the classrooms with the students. Smokers (I am one of them) have few rights and I'm not sure that it's wrong. When ever I quit, I know that I hate being around others who smoke. Even as a smoker, I hate having a meal in a nice restaurant when the smell of smoke wafting over near my table.

State Law here - in a public business, a smoking zone must be designated no closer than 25 feet to a public access door. It's not a violation of your rights, because you choose to smoke.

even as a non smoker i can understand your issue. i used to smoke like 25 years ago but now i can't stand the smell, as most reformed smokers can't. however, i don't understand why you can't have your own private smoking room, equipped with air purifiers or something. that way the smoke wouldn't bother others. maybe bill gates can build you one!

You are violating other people's rights when you smoke around them. Just wait till it stops raining or do yourself a favor and stop smoking altogether. Good luck with that law suit (tounge in cheek).
