I had a happy Christmas, and a depressing one at the same time. I got nice gifts, but I was just sad all day.

Not this year-but I have had many bad ones.No family and all alone and no funds to even spoil myself,I've also had bad ones that involved drunken family members performing stupidly.
Over the years I have learned that Christmas is what you make it. It is a feeling as much as a holiday and the important thing to remember is no matter how crappy your Christmas seems some-where in the world there is someone with less hope, happiness and joy then I will ever know.
Cheer up a new year is upon us.

Well. It didn't snow here and it felt like a usual day. But I still had a great time! (Sorry) But I'm sorry you had a bad Christmas. Hopefully your new year will be better? But it totally didn't feel like Christmas. A lot of people are sick around my school and spreading it too though!

And the Holiday season usually spawns depression among many people, most of whom feel alone and forget the true meaning of the season.

And I agree with Brandon 100%! Being grateful is one of the best gifts.

i'm hindu.....lol.......

nah. it was pretty much a normal day, but no work or classes. YEY. regular tv schedule wasnt changed as much as in the previous years, that wasn't bad either.

so...wassup? why did u have a bad christmas? is it just not what u expected or did sumthing bad happen? if its the former, that really cant be considered bad...

o, sry to hear that. hope u feel better soon, the cold can easily damage the sinuses and such. also, as to the loss of loved ones, just remember that if they lived a good full life their really isn't anything to be sad about. just some loneliness. and their r still those around u who u care about so it's not the end, remember the lesson the lion king taught us, circle of life........disney rocks.......

The good thing, about mines this year unless previous years, is that I did not overeat. I made my New Years resolution back in September. To join a Gym, and work out 6 days a week.

Have a Happy and Safe New Year.

No, I was with my family. But I'm sorry you did. Hope you were with someone who loves you. That's all that really matters. When I think about all those who had no Christmas at all, like ppl who don't have enough to eat, no place to sleep, ppl who are imprisoned for their beliefs, tortured, abused.....I think I had a pretty awesome Christmas & I am thankful for it. I'm sorry you had a sad day! Hope something cheers you up for the New Year!!!

Mines stunk too. Sat at house all day waiting for a special package. So couldn't join family for dinner, attempted to get something to eat at one of our local restaurants...not one was open. Normally, I wouldn't care...but yesterday was enough. Got home and cried over the recent loss of a child. So needless to say, I'm slowly starting to not like this holiday.
