1) He puts up a message telling everyone that everything is under control.
2) He turns on pumps to keep the ship afloat
3) Under cover of darkness he takes the first raft off...

He'd stay with the ship in the face of the storm, just like he stays with the right course in this country in the face of the liberal political storm. No storm lasts forever. The trick is to wait it out. President Bush is intelligent enough to know this. The liberals mistake snobbery, sedition, and blind hatred for intelligence and cunning. It will be their undoing...
