MONTE.....Why do you think I'm asking this question??? I wouldn't think so either! I got the email today about getting best answer, and it was to one I had answered ONE YEAR AGO. NO SCHIT.

Somebody out there must have gone waaaay back in the list to vote for unresolved questions and picked your answer.

No but i can tell you how it happened. There kept being ties in the votes. There was always atleaest 2 voters who voted for different answers and kept causing a tie. Eventually when the tie was broken you had the most votes. I think the voting resets after 2 days. No ive never has it happened to me.

No, the longest time that has passed between answering a question and getting a best answer has only been 3 months for me.

I had my level 7 account suspended 18 months ago and i still get emails saying ive got a best answer.
I even get people adding me as fans. What ???

ok, even that i will understand-- somebody starts answering in previous unsure questions to get some factors. yet what surprises me is while i'm going to get a "thumbs up" for an answer given years in the past. I mean, how does that artwork?
