????? California has TONS of airports...however, California is the name of the STATE...you need to look at individual cities for airports...like Los Angels, San Jose, etc..."California" in and of itself doesn't have one because that is the name of the STATE itself...
Like England is the 'country" but LONDON is where you'd find an airport...
Capish?

Ummm There's one in almost every city in California including several big international airports including Los Angeles (LAX) and the San Francisco Airport (SFO). California is a big state so you better figure out where you want to go first and then fly into the nearest Airport.

What?!?

Here are the airport codes for a few of the major ones. LAX, ONT, SFO, SNA, SJC.

If California were a country it would be the 7th largest economy in the world. Larger than Brazil or South Korea.

Do you really think it does not have an airport?

I would have figured Los Angeles, San Fransisco and San Diego would be the major commercial airports in California. Looking at flight routes, LAX seems to be the hub in that part of the States.

California is a state, not a city. It has lots of airports, depends where in California you want to go. Los Angeles, San Deigo, San Francisco, etc.

No. Due to the "Airport elimination act" of 1995 (B.S. 666-69), California is the only U.S. state that has no usable airports at this time. All previous airports where demolished and turned into housing for illegal immigrants, with the exception of air force bases. Unfortunately, one would be shot (or shot down), or at the very least, beat up and sent to "Gitmo" bay, for a 10 year interrogation, if they landed there for a vacation.

All potential tourists are highly advised to visit elsewhere in the U.S.. If I may, I would highly recommend the following cities: Detroit Michigan,Cleveland Ohio,Laredo Texas, and of course Miami Florida.

Good luck...really.....

Wear shorts and a t shirt and sandals. Comfort is the name of the game and easy off shoes are a must at airports today because of security checks. It is always hot in California in July so that is why the shorts.
