Number 3. To share thoughts and ideas with another person.

It's amazing how many people don't do that. They do 1, 2,
and 4 instead.

It really depends on the conversation. If I'm chatting with a friend, number 3 is the most important. But, a conversation with a banker about your account, or one with a contractor about work being done on your house, or one with a policeman who's about to arrest you, would all have different points of importance.

The most important point of a conversation is to share thoughts.

Number 1 would be boring, number 2 would end more conversations than inspire, so number 3 would be my answer...a conversation takes a minimum of two, and mutual respect of opinion, and thought, would flourish under number 3..............

Share thoughts.

To share thoughts. Hopefully one person will not dominate the conversation. To continue to learn, to be openminded enough to consider opposite opinions. To share your opinions without hammering others.

# 3......Listening is the most important thing to me, & that goes both ways. What's the point of a conversation if both parties aren't truly listening?

to share and care is always my motto... the rest is BS.. just passing time. Which is fine for some. There is a time and place for everything... a season... you know!
