my boyfriend gave me a diamond necklace, and *drumroll* A HAIRDRYER from my family's present pass around trade/steal game. lovespell lotion and body wash , another necklace, a blanket, and my grandma gave me socks lol =)
it was cool because i wasn't expecting to get anything.

I got seven pairs of socks (two with cashmere, three with angora, two pairs long (one over the knee), a pair of leg warmers, a 'braided scrubby' with loops on both ends for when my husband isn't here to wash my back, a Turtle calendar (for the fourth year in a row ... I collect the pictures forever), four books from a series I love, a button up bathrobe, a new nightgown, a pair of slippers ... and an eReader (with everything to keep it running, and $150 to buy eBooks) that is 'cutting edge technology' and PERFECT for me ... I own 5000 books, and am doing my best to 'thin them' so I could buy more ... now the 'thinning' will be easier as I 'replace' the 'hard copy' with eBooks .. and there is a truly WONDERFUL 'side effect' of getting this eReader ... I'm allergic to paper, and as an addicted reader I have an allergy attack every time I open a book because I'm allergic to paper and evergreen trees (which paper is made from) ... when I'm reading my eReader, I don't have allergy attacks. As a result, my gifts (all from my husband) are all PERFECT for me ... as usual, of course.

It was good...all that I asked for which wasn't a lot cuz I didn't (& rarely do) ask for much. I'm pretty simple.
From the family I got a movie, a few giftcards & a Pencil by Numbers (colored pencils instead of paint) Thomas Kinkade picture. (That was a random one from my mom but I still love it cuz TK is my fave modern painter) From the roommates I got a small bottle of lotion (winter candy apple - yummm) & a pretty necklace with matching earrings. (costume jewelry, not the real or expensive stuff of course)

I didn't recieve any real gift this year. Although, two days before chritmas we replaced an outer wall of my house because it was rotten. Which I am thankful for because we really needed it. Priorities I guess. Does that make me good or bad?

I got the karaoke machine I wanted, a George Foreman grill, memory foam pillows, etc. Too many things to name!
