No I don't think so . I used to be quite an excellent stripper my self & therefor might be able to offer a few strip tips. Do it slowly and gently is the main thing. As the stripper heats up the hardened layers it softens the flesh like undersurface. Be careful not to nick or gouge into it with your tool. I'd suggest a long and wide one that is very flexable which can cover the larger areas. For the smaller , harder to reach areas like cracks and crevasses use a more blunt instrument.
