PLEASE PLEASE answer these 3 questions about Sims 2. { i'll give out 10 points to best answer] please?
Ok, I got a few question about Sims 2 Deluxe -- well i just got it yesterday and I have the teen style stuff, celebration, seasons, college one , holiday stuff. Ok here are my question PLEASE ANSWER if you know them

1. Ok, when it is raining it looks like its raining inside the house and i think i have a roof.....so is it really raining inside the house or thats just outside.

2. When you click play there is 4 neighborhoods and one you can create. Well i have a sims family in one of those neighborhoods. Can you play all the neighborhoods with each having different families or only one neighborhood?

3. So what if i want to make a another Sims family in the same neighborhood as my other Sims family -- and lets say i played the new sims family for a few SIMS days. Then i go back to my other sims family.. will it start back up the day and the time or will days go and they will miss school because i was playing the new sims family.

Okayyy, (:

1. You probably have a roof if you moved your family into a house that came with the game, (that was already there, that you didn't build.) If you built the house yourself, then its possible its raining inside, but it wouldn't have any effect on your furniture, or people's moods- basically it wouldn't matter.

2. You can put any amount of families in any neighborhood. You could have 3 families in one neighborhood, 6 in another, and 4 in a different one, and it would matter. That's the joy about the Sims, you have so much freedom!

3. Each Sims family will come back to the SIMS time & the SIMS day, in which you saved it. Playing one family for a while won't have any effect on your families. As long as you saved your other families, they'll be exacly the way you left them.

The Sims 2, what a great game! Anyway, some answers... I haven't played in a while so I'm not 100% sure of the answers but I'm very sure they are correct.

1. First, you need to check if you have a roof, if not, it probably is raining inside, just as if you didn't have a roof in real life. In the build menu, just select a roof that you like, then check it by choosing the view option that allows you to see the uppermost floor with the roof attached.

2. You can indeed play each neighborhood separately with several families. All four are there for your enjoyment. They just separated them so you could have some options as to how you want different neighborhoods to be run.

3. If you go about playing a second Sim family, nothing will happen to the first family. Whenever you leave a family and go back to the neighborhood view, you save the family and the family will stay the same at that save point until you go back to it. And so when you go to the second family, days will pass for that second family only, and once you leave there, the save point will stop all time passing. Now, don't be fooled if you see family members from the first or second family walking by the other family's house, because that is just there so Sims can become friends with people in their neighborhood. So, bascially, time only passes for whichever family you are currently viewing.

1. Check from the inside of your house and look to a window. If it is actually raining inside, it's a game error and you're going to have to search the web for a hack or the sims 2 website for a game fix. It is probably outside, though. Also, check again if you have a roof by going up all the house levels.
2. You can play all different neighbourhoods with different families. I have a 5 generation family in Pleasantville, and like 25 other families scattered around the other neighbourhoods.
3. The time of the other family will stay exactly the same!

1. Try zooming in so that your camera is inside the house only (you can't see anything outside). If you're seeing raindrops, or if you have puddles on the ground, it's raining inside. The reason you can see the rain when you're zoomed out is because the game camera is technically outside of your house. Put the game camera inside your house, and you won't see the rain anymore.

2. You can play all of the neighborhoods, and none of them will have the same families, unless you put that family in both neighborhoods. (By the way, you can create more than one neighborhood, and that button will recreate itself once you create a new neighborhood.)

3. If you make a new family and play it, time stops for all the other families, even if a member of your old family visits your new family. The old family will stay exactly the same (same day, same events, etc.), with the only difference being they may have increased relationships with people of your new family or other people in the neighborhood.

Sims 2 is very advanced compared to previous versions. Your neighborhood comes with a school, but you don't see it, or actually go to it.. You can go to college, and actually be there, if you have University. For your second question, if you use pre-made Sims, they may or may not already have jobs, but you can always quit them. If you make a Sim, or your Sim quit their job, you'll have them look for jobs in the newpaper or on the computer. If you don't like any of the choices, you'lll have to wait for the next (Sim's) day to get new choices. The sidewalks and street come intact with the game, but if you wanted a sidewalk going around back your Sim's house, you can put it there. It comes with streets and such, so you don't get to build streets. You can make your own neighborhood, but I'm not sure what you get to do on there, and what it already has.
